Mutika Monday
An enduring love/hate , on again off again love affair with the Toyota Landcruiser , I’ve had 3 , a 1981 SWB , 1997 Troopie and now a 2005 100 series.
They are every where up here I can’t swing my camera without shooting one in the background. The people I work with and photograph are either driving them, getting out of them,
working on them, chasing something in them or crashing them.

Heading back to Owen Springs and a day spent chasing feral cattle out on the flat left this muitka a little worse for wear , in fact the smashed windscreen was the least of our problems…we were walking! »

Anzac Day 2006, the morning after Cyclone Monica hit the Arnhem Land coast just west of the community of Maningrida. Fortunately no one was killed or seriously hurt . The building was empty at the time so lucky the African Mahogany fell on the house instead of the blokes Mutika. »
